Rabot Energy Raises $50 Million in Series B Funding to Expand Smart Energy Platform

Rabot Energy, a provider of dynamic electricity tariffs, has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round to expand its technology platform and support its next stage of growth.

The funding round was led by Endeit, a growth investment firm that supports European technology companies, alongside the DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF). Existing investors HV Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures, and vent.io also joined the round.

Rabot Energy offers electricity plans that allow customers to pay different prices depending on when they use electricity. Its technology automatically shifts electricity use to periods when prices are lower and renewable energy, such as wind and solar power, is more readily available. This helps households reduce their electricity bills while making better use of clean energy.

The company’s technology can also manage connected home batteries. These batteries store electricity when renewable energy is widely available and release it when supply is lower. This helps balance electricity demand and reduces the need for power generated from fossil fuels.

As more people switch to electric vehicles and electric heating, electricity demand continues to grow. At the same time, renewable energy production is expanding. Rabot Energy aims to connect household energy devices and manage when they use or store electricity, helping make the energy system more flexible and efficient.

In June 2026, Rabot Energy launched Rabot Flow, which combines a dynamic electricity tariff, a smart meter, and a plug-and-play home battery. According to the company, the solution can reduce household energy costs by 15%. The battery plugs into a standard power socket, does not require rooftop solar panels, and can also be used by people who rent their homes.

Rabot Energy is also developing a virtual power plant (VPP) system that connects and coordinates home batteries across multiple households. By managing when these batteries store and release electricity, the company aims to help balance supply and demand and make the electricity grid more flexible.

“The next generation of power plants will not be built; it will be connected. Millions of households have enormous untapped potential to do more than simply consume energy and instead become an active part of the wider energy system, “said Jan Rabe, CEO of Rabot Energy.

Rabot Energy will use the new funding to reach one million customers, expand its services for households and businesses across Germany, and improve its technology platform.

The company also plans to connect more energy devices, including home batteries, electric vehicle chargers, and heat pumps, to make electricity use more flexible and efficient.
