RSYNQ Raises $2 Million from Kanden Corporation to Expand Physical AI Platform

RSYNQ Corporation, a Torrance, California-based technology company developing infrastructure for Physical AI, has raised $2 million in funding round from Kanden Corporation.

The investment will support the company’s commercial expansion in Japan, team growth and continued development of its technology platform.

RSYNQ plans to expand its engineering and commercial teams while advancing its Semantic Intent Protocol (SIP), which helps connect artificial intelligence with robots, sensors, machines and autonomous systems.

The investment comes as companies explore ways to move AI beyond software and enable it to interact with physical equipment in real-world environments.

How RSYNQ’s Physical AI Technology Works

Led by CEO Alex Mecl, RSYNQ develops the Semantic Intent Protocol, a middleware and orchestration layer designed to connect AI systems with different types of physical hardware.

The platform translates high-level AI instructions into coordinated actions across robots, sensors, machines and autonomous systems. It is designed to reduce the need for AI applications to manage each device’s unique interface separately.

RSYNQ also aims to maintain real-time awareness of operating environments, helping AI systems coordinate actions across equipment from multiple vendors.

The company is targeting industries including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and smart infrastructure, where AI systems may need to interact with different machines and devices.

RSYNQ Plans Commercial Expansion in Japan

RSYNQ will use the new funding to accelerate its commercial expansion in Japan. The capital will also support hiring across its engineering and commercial operations and further development of its Semantic Intent Protocol.

Kanden Corporation is the investor behind the $2 million funding round. The announcement highlights a focus on bringing Physical AI infrastructure to markets where businesses are exploring automation and connected industrial systems.

The funding announcement did not disclose a company valuation or additional details about the investment terms.

Why Physical AI Infrastructure Matters

Physical AI refers to AI systems that can perceive, understand, and act within the physical world. These systems can include industrial robots, autonomous machines, and other connected devices.

However linking AI software with hardware made by companies can be hard because the devices usually have different ways of working and need different systems to run.

Platforms, like RSYNQ’s SIP are created to fix this problem by changing AI instructions into steps that different machines can follow. If this works it could allow companies to manage their tools in situations.

As interest in robotics and industrial automation grows, infrastructure that connects AI models with physical systems could become an important part of deploying Physical AI at scale.
