IPX, a Miami-based company building an AI-powered platform for intellectual property, has raised $4 million in seed funding at a $125 million valuation.
The funding round was led by Bitsurge Holdings and YICIPX Holdings Family Office, with participation from strategic investors.
IPX plans to use the new funding to accelerate the launch of its AI-powered operating system, tokenized launchpad and IPX Exchange.
The company is building a platform that connects creators and intellectual property owners with investors through blockchain technology and AI tools. It aims to help creators raise funds, manage their assets and generate revenue from content such as music, entertainment and brands.
IPX allows intellectual property assets to be tokenized on the blockchain, potentially enabling investors to purchase fractional ownership interests and trade eligible tokens on a secondary market.
The platform uses bonding curves and liquidity pools to support token trading, with transactions settled in USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar.
The company is also developing AI agents to help creators manage and monetize their intellectual property. Its wider ecosystem includes businesses such as PodX and BrandX.
According to the company, its platform has more than 500 live projects and over $50 million in total investments across those projects. IPX also reports an average investor return of 12.5%, although this figure has not been independently verified. The company says its projected tokenization pipeline exceeds $1.35 billion.
IPX is building its platform on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network designed to support transactions with lower fees. The company aims to make blockchain-based ownership and trading more accessible for intellectual property assets.
The latest funding will support the company’s plans to expand its platform and bring more projects to market. Its long-term goal is to create a marketplace where creators can connect with investors and generate new revenue opportunities from intellectual property.
However, the success of the model will depend on investor demand, regulatory compliance, market liquidity and the performance of tokenized assets.
