Mueon Corporation, a semiconductor systems company developing computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) and hyperscale data centers, has raised $65 million in Series A funding.
The round was led by Maverick Silicon with participation from Intel Capital, Geodesic Capital, Oregon Venture Fund, M-Ventures, Wellington Management, IQT and Defined.
The latest investment brings Mueon’s total funding to more than $80 million, following a $15.5 million seed round in 2025.
The company will use the new capital to expand its engineering and operations teams, advance its computing technology toward system validation and production readiness, and strengthen its relationships with customers.
Mueon is developing a modular computing platform called Exponential Computing, built around its Cubelets architecture. The technology uses three-dimensional building blocks that combine computing power, memory and interconnects into compact systems.
“This financing gives us the scale to bring the next generation of compute and memory system-scale integration to market,” said Wilfred Gomes, co-founder and CEO of Mueon Corporation. “Mueon’s architecture is built to move past today’s rack-level constraints and deliver the kind of density the rest of the industry is only beginning to chart a path toward.”
Traditional server systems keep computing parts separate. Mueon wants to bring those parts together. The approach is designed to reduce the distance data travels between components, improve power efficiency and increase computing capacity without requiring additional server rack space.
These improvements could help address growing infrastructure demands as businesses build larger AI models and expand their data center operations.
“The Mueon team combines deep expertise in the technologies that define modern data centers with the experience to deploy those technologies at system scale,” said Manish Muthal, Sr. Managing Director at Maverick Silicon.
“Mueon is continuing to reimagine data-center design at the fundamental level,” said Srini Ananth, Managing Director at Intel Capital. “By bringing compute, memory, power delivery, and thermal management together into a single, integrated system, the team is building a path to scale AI infrastructure with better economics and efficiency, and this round reflects the engineering depth and ecosystem required to bring that vision to market.”
Since its seed funding round, Mueon has expanded its work across semiconductor design, advanced packaging, power delivery, thermal management and software orchestration. The company is also working with technology and manufacturing partners to validate its architecture and prepare for production.
Mueon is aiming for, up to ten times power use and cost use while keeping the same rack size. These numbers are Mueon’s goals, not verified by a test.
As part of the funding round, Manish Muthal will join Mueon’s board of directors alongside Srini Ananth, managing director at Intel Capital.
Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Mueon is developing its platform for AI computing and hyperscale infrastructure. The company aims to increase computing density while reducing power consumption, infrastructure costs and system complexity.
