Ollie, a San Diego, California-based artificial intelligence startup, has raised $7.5 million in seed funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from AI House.
Led by CEO Bill Lennon, Ollie develops an AI-powered assistant designed to help users manage everyday tasks and workflows. The platform can support activities such as calendar coordination, scheduling, meal planning, grocery shopping, bill payments, and family management through conversational and group messaging interfaces.
Ollie is focused on data privacy and security as part of its platform strategy. The company has completed an independent security audit and achieved SOC 2 compliance. Its system is designed to keep user data separate and uses secure remote browser sessions to complete certain online actions.
Rather than collecting and storing users’ website credentials, Ollie allows users to log in manually during secure cloud-based browser sessions. The company aims to provide automation while maintaining stronger privacy and security controls.
The new funding will help Ollie expand its engineering team, accelerate the development of its AI models, and grow its business development efforts.
Ollie is working to improve the reliability of AI agents that handle real-world tasks, where mistakes such as missed payments, incorrect purchases, or scheduling errors can have direct consequences.
The company is betting that users will value a combination of AI-powered convenience, stronger privacy protections, and secure automation as the market for personal and productivity-focused AI assistants continues to grow.
