Nirva Labs Raises $25M to Develop AI-Powered Smart Jewelry

San Francisco-based startup Nirva Labs has raised $25 million in funding to develop AI-powered wearable jewelry designed to help users record their daily experiences and understand patterns in their moods and relationships.

The funding round was backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and South Park Commons, along with technology angel investors. The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $33 million, following an $8 million seed round.

Founded by CEO Wei Lyu, Nirva Labs is developing AI-powered necklaces and bracelets that function as personal companions. The devices are designed to automatically journal users’ daily activities, identify patterns in their lives and provide personalized insights through a companion app.

With user permission, the platform can also access information from calendars, location data and Apple Health to provide additional context.

The wearable devices feature dual microphones, a touch button, an LED indicator and a battery that lasts approximately two days. They are available in jewelry-inspired finishes, including silver, gold and onyx.

Nirva Labs plans to use the new funding to improve hardware manufacturing, develop its on-device AI models, expand its mechanical design team and support its go-to-market strategy.

The company plans to open orders in November at a starting price of $249, with initial shipments expected by the end of 2026.

With its AI-powered jewelry, Nirva Labs aims to bring artificial intelligence into everyday life through wearable devices that combine personal insights with traditional jewelry design.
