London-based startup Querio has launched with €4.48 million ($5 million) in total funding. The company provides an analytics platform that helps data teams and AI agents work with data more easily.
The seed funding round was led by BMW i Ventures. Other investors include LAUNCH, the fund run by Jason Calacanis, Haatch Ventures, Araya, Forum Ventures and Secways.
“Companies want to use AI with their data, but they need to trust the answer. Querio lets data teams hand more of the work to AI agents while a person stays in charge of every change that reaches the business,” said Javier Bonilla, co-founder and CTO at Querio.
Founded in 2024 by Rami Abi Habib and Bonilla, Querio is an AI analytics platform that helps businesses get consistent answers from the AI tools they already use. It keeps company reports, data definitions and analysis in the data team’s GitHub. This allows employees to get reliable answers through tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Slack, while the data team reviews changes.
Querio was launched to address the challenge of keeping business information consistent across different AI tools. As more employees use AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to ask business-related questions, companies need a reliable way to ensure the answers match their actual data.
When different tools use different versions of company figures, employees can receive conflicting answers. This also forces data teams to spend time checking and correcting information instead of focusing on other important tasks.
Querio aims to solve this problem by giving data teams one place to define and manage company data. It keeps these definitions and reports in the team’s own GitHub, rather than locking them inside a third-party platform.
“For thirty years, analytics tools have kept a company’s logic inside the vendor’s product, where it’s hard to move and hard for AI to work with. Now everyone is asking data questions in Claude, Slack and wherever else they work, and they get three different revenue numbers. We built Querio so the data team owns that logic, and every AI tool in the company answers from it,” said Abi Habib, co-founder and CEO of Querio.
“Say sales renames a field in the CRM. The revenue dashboard breaks, the Slack bot says no deals closed last week and Claude gives a third number. With Querio, the agent spots the change, fixes everything that depends on it and sends the data team one update to approve. After that, every tool gives the same answer,” Abi Habib added.
The UK startup says employees can ask questions through Claude, ChatGPT or Slack and receive consistent answers across all three tools. When business information changes, Querio’s AI agent updates the relevant reports and data definitions. The data team then reviews and approves these changes before they are shared with employees.
