Naboo Expands in the UK with pro-ven Acquisition, Managing €269M in Events

Paris-based EventTech company Naboo has acquired UK events specialist pro-ven to strengthen its presence in the Meetings and Events (M&E) industry. The deal brings together two established players in the sector.

From today, pro-ven will operate under the Naboo UK name. The combined business now manages €269 million ($300 million) in meetings and events worldwide. The acquisition was funded equally through equity and debt.

The deal follows Naboo’s €58.7 million Series B funding round earlier this year. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, with participation from existing investors Notion Capital, ISAI and Ternel.

“The future category leader in the M&E spend management market will be a pure player. Both event planners and procurement leaders have very high expectations in terms of user experience, embedded compliance, payment simplification, spend analytics and transparency. It cannot be achieved as a side business by TMCs who are still very much focused on transforming the transient travel experience. Together with pro-ven, that is the leader we are building,” said Maxime Eduardo, co-founder and CEO of Naboo.

Founded in 2022 by Eduardo, Antoine Servant, Lucien Bredin and Jean-Louis Villeminot, Naboo is a platform that helps businesses book and manage corporate events. Its services cover meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. The platform offers venue booking, AI-powered purchasing tools, corporate payment cards, invoice management and event planning features.

Naboo aims to simplify corporate event management by bringing different tasks into one AI-powered platform. Its AI agents can help businesses find venues, compare quotes, review contracts and process payments. According to the company, its platform helps clients save an average of 12% on each event.

Naboo works with major companies, including Google, Meta, Microsoft and Siemens. It also serves around a quarter of the companies listed on France’s CAC 40 index through exclusive contracts. The company is using its technology to make corporate event planning easier and more efficient for businesses.

Founded in 2005, UK-based pro-ven has spent two decades building relationships with enterprise clients across the UK, Europe and other markets. The company specialises in venue and supplier sourcing, price negotiations, approval processes, centralised invoicing and corporate payment management. By joining forces, Naboo brings its AI technology and platform capabilities together with pro-ven’s UK market expertise. Naboo has been expanding its UK presence since opening a London office in 2025 and has already signed clients such as KPMG and HSBC.

“I am incredibly excited for our clients and our team to make such a step into the AI-native world, which I believe is the right technology to create a world leader in the M&E market,” said Julian Laxon, founder and Managing Director of pro-ven, who will continue in his role to help as Naboo builds out its UK presence.

Naboo says its AI technology makes it possible to manage events of all sizes, including smaller bookings that often go unnoticed by procurement teams. The corporate events market is also seeing more activity, with Long Lake acquiring AMEX GBT, Navan acquiring Reed & Mackay, and Navan partnering with BoomPop.
