Swiss Startup Prismus Secures €163K from Venture Kick to Expand AI-Powered Research Platform Lupa

Swiss deeptech startup Prismus has received €163,000 (CHF 150,000) in funding from Venture Kick to further develop Lupa, its AI-powered platform. The platform connects scientific research with business opportunities and helps companies find ways to use new technologies.

Lupa turns complex information from research papers, patents and market activities into useful insights. It helps businesses make better decisions about new markets, potential partners, research projects and business opportunities.

New scientific discoveries can create opportunities for businesses, but finding the right ways to use them is not always easy. Important information is often spread across research papers, patents, universities, company databases and industry news.

This makes it difficult for companies to follow new technologies and market developments. Finding the right customers, business partners or commercial opportunities can also take a lot of time and manual research.

Lupa brings scientific and business information together in one platform. Its AI agents analyse different sources to identify and rank relevant markets, companies, researchers and potential partners based on their technology and business needs.

The platform also provides insights supported by reliable and verifiable sources. This helps businesses understand new opportunities, make informed decisions and discover potential markets or partnerships that traditional research methods might miss.

“VentureKick has excited us, challenged us and pushed us into the next phase of our company. In particular, the Kickers Camps were intense and rewarding to complete,” shared co-founder and CEO Elisabeth Blyumin.

The startup already has 30 paying customers. It will use the funding to grow its business in deeptech markets and attract more individual users.
