Mintive, a San Francisco-based technology startup building infrastructure for enterprise AI agents, has raised $7 million in a new funding round led by Cowboy Ventures. The round also included participation from Operator Collective, Burst Capital, Coatue, Hustle Fund, and Maven Ventures.
The latest investment brings Mintive’s total funding to $11 million.
The company will use the funding to expand its platform, focusing on AI agent identity management, security, governance, and enterprise deployment.
Mintive provides infrastructure that helps businesses manage and secure AI agents. Its platform includes an MCP gateway for controlling access to tools, an LLM gateway for managing AI models and infrastructure for deploying and monitoring agents.
The platform gives each AI agent its own identity, access permissions, and activity records, helping businesses monitor what their agents can access and do across enterprise systems.
Mintive already serves more than 50 paying customers, including Ro, Modern Treasury, Braze, Coursera, the University of Michigan, Apax, and Stability AI.
The company processes more than 2.5 million AI agent calls daily and has handled over 200 million calls in seven months.
Founded in 2026 by Jiquan Ngiam and Vijay Vasudevan, Mintive aims to help enterprises safely adopt AI agents by providing the infrastructure needed to manage their identities, permissions, and activities.
