Labelbox Raises Over $100 Million in Series E Funding

Labelbox, an AI infrastructure company, has raised more than $100 million in Series E financing to expand its reinforcement learning technology and AI agent platform for businesses. The financing includes equity and a credit facility.

The funding round was led by Infinitum Partners, with participation from Wipro Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), B Capital, Tau Ventures, Snowpoint Ventures, and other investors.

Labelbox helps AI research laboratories train advanced models and enables businesses to deploy AI agents that perform tasks across their existing software systems. The company says it serves more than 400 customers, including over 90% of leading U.S. AI labs. It also reported reaching profitability in 2026 while growing more than fivefold year over year.

“Every company will soon run on AI systems that learn from their own work. Getting there takes innovation at every layer, from sandbox infrastructure and the agent harness to reinforcement learning post-training. Labelbox brings those layers together in one platform, and this funding lets us push each one further, so that frontier labs and enterprises can build AI that gets better with every run,” said Manu Sharma, CEO and co-founder of Labelbox.

The company is developing two main products to help AI systems move beyond generating responses and perform complex tasks more reliably.

Its first product, Horizon, provides reinforcement learning environments, expert feedback, and evaluation tools for advanced AI models. These environments allow models to practice multi-step tasks, including coding and research, receive feedback, and improve their performance. Labelbox works with leading AI laboratories and cloud providers on these training programs.

Its second product, Recursion Managed Agents, helps enterprises deploy AI agents within the applications their employees already use. These agents can respond to schedules, alerts, and support tickets, coordinate work across different tools, and evaluate their results against defined standards. Information from previous tasks can also help agents improve how they handle future work.

Labelbox says it already uses more than 50 AI agents internally across engineering, research, product, sales, marketing and finance. Earlier in October 2026, the company opened Recursion Managed Agents to enterprise customers, extending the platform beyond AI research organizations.

The new funding will support research and engineering for Horizon and Recursion Managed Agents, as well as expansion of the teams responsible for bringing the products to customers.

As businesses look for ways to use AI for more complex tasks, Labelbox is positioning its technology around two needs: helping advanced models learn through reinforcement and enabling companies to deploy AI agents that can carry out work and improve over time.
