Mostest, a New York-based AI-powered event booking startup, has raised $4 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round to simplify event planning and booking for individuals and businesses.
The round was led by Capital Q Ventures, NEXUS Luxury Collection and T-Squared Social, a hospitality and entertainment venture co-founded by Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake. Other participants included Wildwood Ventures, Locker Room Capital, Newbond and several strategic investors and advisors.
The funding round values Mostest at a $16 million post-money SAFE valuation cap. The company plans to use the capital to develop its AI technology, strengthen partnerships with hospitality businesses, expand enterprise relationships and enter new markets.
Founded by CEO Sarah Klingman and Co-Founder and CTO Aaron Kennedy, Mostest aims to make booking events as simple as making a restaurant reservation.
Planning private and corporate events often involves contacting multiple venues, requesting proposals, comparing prices and coordinating vendors. Mostest is developing an AI-powered platform that brings these activities together in one place.
“We live in a world where almost everything is instantly accessible, yet booking an event still feels like it did 20 years ago. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large-scale corporate event, the process remains unnecessarily complex. We built Mostest to change that. Our opportunity isn’t simply to make planning easier. It’s to transform how an entire industry sells, books, and executes events, bringing the same speed and simplicity consumers expect from everyday transactions to events of every size.”
— Sarah Klingman, Founder & CEO, Mostest.“Mostest is addressing a significant inefficiency in the hospitality industry by transforming how events are discovered, booked, and executed. Sarah and her team have demonstrated an ability to translate that opportunity into meaningful traction. We believe their approach has the potential to reshape how hospitality operators capture demand and generate revenue, and we’re excited to support their continued growth.” — Michael “Q” Quatrini, CEO, Capital Q® Ventures Inc.
The platform allows customers to search venues, compare prices, connect with pre-vetted vendors and avail event planning help. It offers hotels, restaurants and hospitality groups an AI-powered booking and sales system to handle enquiries, generate proposals and convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
Unlike traditional event marketplaces that primarily connect customers with service providers, Mostest focuses on supporting the booking process through to completion.
The company reports that its platform has facilitated more than $126 million in event spending across over 1,700 events. It has also generated seven-figure revenue at an early stage, according to the company.
Mostest is testing its technology with major hospitality groups, hotel chains and Fortune 500 companies as it expands into corporate event booking and enterprise partnerships.
The new funding will support further technology development and help the startup serve more customers and hospitality businesses.
With growing interest in in-person experiences and digital booking solutions, Mostest aims to simplify event planning while helping hospitality businesses increase bookings and manage sales more efficiently.
