Easol, an AI-powered commerce platform for experience businesses, has raised $30 million in a Series A extension funding round, bringing its total funding to $60 million.
The round includes $20 million in equity financing from investors including Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital, and Eight Roads. The remaining $10 million comes from a debt facility provided by Viola Credit.
Founded in 2021 by Ben and Lisa Simpson, Easol helps businesses such as festivals, wellness retreats, sports operators, adventure companies, and entertainment venues manage bookings, payments, marketing, customer support, and guest data through one platform.
The company will use its funding to support the development and expansion of Teammates, its AI agent tools designed to help experience businesses automate sales, customer support, and operational tasks.
“We built Easol to give experience businesses control over their entire business and bring their technology in-house. AI is now allowing us to do so much more, with rising costs and tighter margins we can now support experience creators in scaling their business growing revenue in ways we couldn’t have imagined when we first launched the platform in 2021 said Ben Simpson, Co-Founder and CEO of Easol. “We believe the experience businesses that adopt AI will have a competitive advantage that will be transformative. They’ll be able to look after every guest like never before, grow bookings with specialist agents working as an extension of their team using their live data to operate, analyse, provide insights and take action across and keep watch over their whole business, while their teams focus on their customer relationships and delivering world class experiences.”
AI Agents Help Businesses Recover Revenue
Experience businesses are facing rising operating costs and tighter profit margins despite continued consumer interest in live events and activities. Easol aims to help these businesses improve efficiency by using AI agents that work directly within their existing systems and access relevant business data.
With Teammates, businesses can create AI agents that identify missed sales opportunities, follow up with customers, and handle recurring administrative work. For example, one business used an agent to identify hundreds of guests with bookings but no additional purchases, uncovering around $50,000 in potential upsell revenue.
Another business used the platform to identify $28,000 in recoverable payments within seconds, a task that had previously taken two days.
These tools are designed to help businesses with small teams manage more customer interactions and revenue opportunities without significantly increasing their workload.
Focus on Data Ownership and Business Control
Easol enables experience businesses to manage their technology and customer relationships directly rather than relying entirely on external marketplaces or booking platforms. The company says customers retain ownership of their business data, which Easol does not sell.
Its Teammates AI agents operate within the existing platform and use its security and compliance controls, including single sign-on, audit logs, payment compliance, and data residency measures.
The company operates from offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles. In 2026, Easol has powered experiences booked by 2.8 million guests across more than 135 countries, according to the company.
Easol’s customers include Coachella, Stagecoach, Defected, Snowboxx, Afronation, Swingers – The Home of Revelry, The Cube, and Hijingo.
With its latest funding, Easol plans to expand its AI capabilities and help experience businesses manage operations more efficiently, improve customer engagement, and capture revenue opportunities through a single platform.
