AI startup TODAY, which helps financial and insurance advisors automate their daily work, has raised €2.8 million in Seed funding. The round was co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and InsurTech Gateway, with participation from Seed X, Lucid Capital, and angel investors including former HDI CEO Herbert Rogenhofer and Tech11 founder Pierre Dubosq.
Founded in 2024 by Michael Gackstatter and Artem Demchenkov, TODAY is building an AI-powered sales platform for advisors working at banks, insurance companies, and brokerages.
The company is targeting financial and insurance firms that need to grow their businesses while managing increasing workloads. TODAY aims to make it easier for these firms to use AI while meeting industry requirements.
Its platform uses AI agents to support advisors before, during, and after client interactions. The technology can transcribe meetings, handle routine administrative tasks, help advisors improve their sales performance, and answer incoming calls.
By automating these tasks, TODAY aims to reduce paperwork and give financial and insurance advisors more time to focus on their clients.
“While AI reshuffles financial advice, we scale the human touch. Our agents take over the admin, so advisors can spend their time with clients. With our strong investors on board, we will bring this to every advisory team in DACH,” said Michael Gackstatter, co-founder and CEO of TODAY.
TODAY will use the new Seed funding to expand across the DACH region and add more features to its platform. The company plans to support more of the front-office and back-office tasks handled by financial and insurance advisors.
