Verisma, a healthcare technology company focused on health information management, has secured new senior-secured financing from Golub Capital.
The financing includes a delayed-draw term loan facility and will support Verisma’s growth plans including investments in its technology platform and potential acquisitions.
Backed by private equity firm NewSpring Capital, Verisma has introduced several new technologies in 2026 to help healthcare organizations manage health information more efficiently.
Its new Inbound Document Intelligence solution helps healthcare providers extract important outcomes data to improve quality reporting and reimbursement processes. The company has also introduced Archiving Chart Search, which allows healthcare professionals to quickly find information across archived patient records and multiple systems.
“The function of ‘health information management’ within an organization has evolved significantly over the past several years,” notes Verisma CEO Marty McKenna. Traditionally viewed as a purely administrative function, healthcare leaders now recognize that effective HILM contributes significantly to improved continuity of care, care gap closure, quality performance, and reimbursement optimization.
“It is a dynamic market, and Verisma is poised to expand both its leadership position and its footprint as the premier HILM vendor,” McKenna adds. “Golub Capital’s financing gives us the firepower to accelerate our growth, through both organic development and M&A.”
“Verisma has established a strong position in the healthcare data market through its focus on innovation, deep customer relationships, and operational excellence,” said Spyro Alexopoulos, Co-President and Co-Head of Sponsor Finance at Golub Capital. “We are pleased to partner with Verisma and NewSpring Capital to support the company’s long-term growth objectives.”
Verisma was also named the top vendor for Release of Information (ROI) and Health Information Lifecycle Management (HILM) by Black Book Research for the eighth consecutive year.
The company serves more than 20,000 clients across all 50 U.S. states, helping healthcare organizations securely manage, exchange, and use patient information.
With the new financing, Verisma plans to continue developing its technology solutions and explore acquisition opportunities to expand its business.
