Talky Labs Raises €1.5 Million Pre-Seed to Automate Accounting and Financial Operations with AI

Spanish startup Talky Labs, which develops AI-powered technology to automate accounting and financial tasks, has raised €1.5 million in a pre-Seed funding round. The company will use the funding to expand its team, improve its product and strengthen its technical infrastructure.

The funding round closed in September 2026, with participation from venture capital firms HelloWorld, Silence VC, Motive Force and Aera Capital. Several angel investors also joined the round, including Sebastián Gunningham, Remitly CEO Paul Golbaum, Lightbase CEO and former Seedtag CTO, and Javier Morenés, among others.

“Two years ago, I met my co-founder Jorge Beamonte at a networking event. That night, I called my mom and told her: ‘Mom, today is the most important day of my life. Everything is about to change,‘” said Maximilian Letón in a public statement.

“Every company has its own way of doing accounting, and it’s almost never written down. Talky learns those criteria, applies them to the hard cases and turns them into information for better decisions,” adds Jorge Beamonte, co-founder and CEO of Talky.

Founded in 2025 by Jorge Beamonte (CEO) and Maximilian Letón (COO), Talky Labs helps businesses automate financial tasks that usually require accountants’ experience and knowledge of company processes. Despite having a team of just nine employees, the startup says its platform has already processed more than 1.8 million documents and handled over €2 billion in client spending.

The company aims to solve a common problem faced by finance teams. Important financial information is often spread across different systems, spreadsheets, emails, contracts and employees’ records. Traditional automation tools can handle regular transactions, but unusual invoices and complex cases often need manual work. This can slow down processes and increase the risk of mistakes.

Talky uses AI to learn how a company manages its accounting activities. Its platform studies past accounting records and learns from the experience of finance teams. Instead of following only fixed rules, the technology understands how previous transactions were handled and uses that knowledge to process new financial tasks.

If the platform comes across an unfamiliar situation or does not have enough information, it identifies the right employee to ask for help.

According to the company, its technology can process between 86% and 93% of accounting documents without human involvement. It can read invoices, suggest accounting entries, check tax details and match bank transactions. It then records the results directly in the client’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
