Polish automotive e-commerce startup Autofixer has secured €3 million in venture debt financing from Orbit Capital. The funding will help the company expand across Europe, improve its platform and grow its team.
Buying car parts online can be difficult because finding the right component is not always easy. Even cars of the same model may use different parts. Manufacturers and distributors also use different product numbers and names, making it harder for customers to find parts that fit their vehicles.
Autofixer aims to solve this problem through a platform that helps customers find the right car parts for their vehicles. It brings together vehicle information, parts catalogues, supplier listings and records of previously matched parts. This information helps customers identify compatible components more easily.
The platform also uses automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to organise product data, analyse information and create product listings. By making it easier to find compatible car parts, Autofixer aims to improve the online shopping experience for customers while supporting its expansion into more European markets.
“For a driver, buying the wrong part means more than returning a product. It means starting the search again and delaying the repair. We want to help drivers make an informed choice before placing an order. We bring together information about their car and the available parts so they can choose the right product without having to search through and compare multiple catalogues themselves, “says Szymon Jezierski, CEO of Autofixer.
Autofixer also helps car parts distributors reach customers in more European markets. Under its business model, distributors supply the products and manage stock availability, while Autofixer handles product listings, marketing, customer acquisition and customer service in each market. This allows distributors to expand into other countries without building their own online stores or e-commerce teams.
With the new funding, Autofixer plans to expand across Europe, offer more products and grow its team. The company is preparing to enter Czechia, where sales are expected to begin within a month.
Autofixer also plans to build its own e-commerce websites to support its expansion into more European markets. These websites will help the company reach new customers and make its platform available in additional countries.
Alongside its expansion plans, Autofixer is developing AI-powered tools to help customers find the right car parts and make the buying process easier. The company is also working on an app to help drivers manage their vehicles and stay connected with Autofixer between purchases.
