CAMO Hospitality has raised $4 million in a Seed funding round as the company prepares to expand its hotel-branded room service platform across more U.S. markets.
The funding comes after CAMO reported more than 200% year-over-year revenue growth and as the company moves toward broader deployments with hotel brands and management companies. The company plans to use the capital to enter additional U.S. markets, support portfolio-wide deployments currently in pilot, and further develop its technology platform.
The round includes investments from Anthony Lacavera, founder and chairman of Globalive; Rajan Hansji, CEO of Hansji Corporation; Azim Jamal, CEO of Pacific Reach; Parsa Rohani, cofounder of Neudesic/Timu; Evan Weiss, cofounder of LWHA; as well as several hotel owners already using CAMO at their properties.
Founded by Kevin Rohani, CAMO initially operated with a focus on building the business without outside capital. The company concentrated on profitability and refining its operating model before seeking capital to accelerate growth.
The company had an early strategy to partner with hotels that had access to kitchen facilities and then expand room service offerings to nearby properties.
The company used this period to test and improve its model before pursuing larger hotel deployments.
Today, CAMO operates across more than 60 hotel properties in six U.S. markets and is working with major hotel brands and management companies on broader portfolio rollouts.
CAMO provides fully managed room service under a hotel’s own brand. Its platform handles ordering technology, local kitchen fulfillment, delivery logistics, and guest support. The model is designed to eliminate the need for hotels to build kitchens, invest in additional capital expenditures, or hire extra staff.
The company sees growing demand from hotel brands looking for a consistent room service experience across multiple properties. As conversations have shifted from individual hotel deployments to brand segments, regions, and portfolio-wide partnerships, CAMO says additional capital will help it meet the growing demand.
Its model also targets a broader opportunity in hotel commerce. CAMO argues that much of the restaurant delivery spending generated during hotel stays currently flows through third-party platforms, potentially limiting hotels’ control over the guest experience, revenue and customer data.
CAMO plans to expand beyond room service and food delivery into a broader in-room commerce platform covering services such as wellness, transportation, experiences, and other on-demand offerings.
The company has also expanded its advisory board with executives from hospitality, payments, and off-premises dining. New advisors include Paul Tuscano, former KFC chief digital officer and Marriott International executive; Mike Cohen, a former Square and Meta executive; and Alex Canter, founder of Ordermark and Nextbite.
With its new funding, CAMO is positioning its platform for wider adoption by hotel brands and management companies while building a broader commerce infrastructure for services delivered directly to hotel gues
