Construction technology startup conmeet has raised €6 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round to expand its AI-powered platform for construction and trades businesses.
The funding round was co-led by Reimann Investors Venture Capital and Smedvig Ventures. Existing investor May Ventures, which led the company’s pre-seed round six months ago, also participated.
Founded in 2023 by Benedikt Kisner, Leandro Ananias, and Lennart Eckerlein, conmeet has built an AI-based operating system that helps construction companies manage their entire business from one platform.
The software combines project management, procurement, scheduling, site operations, documentation, finance, and invoicing into a single system. It is designed for small and mid-sized construction and trades companies with 10 to 500 employees.
Many construction businesses use different software tools for different tasks, which often leads to duplicate work, manual data entry, and poor communication between teams. Conmeet aims to solve this problem by bringing all business operations together in one platform.
The platform also uses artificial intelligence to automate routine tasks and improve daily workflows. Because the system is built around a shared data platform, AI can be integrated directly into business operations instead of being added as a separate feature.
“We believe the industry needs one connected platform instead of many separate tools,” said Benedikt Kisner, co-founder and CEO of conmeet. He added that AI is creating new opportunities to automate business processes and make operations more efficient.
Samuel Schuler, Managing Director at Reimann Investors Venture Capital, said the investment was driven by the growing demand for software built specifically for construction and trades businesses. He also highlighted conmeet’s strong mix of industry knowledge and technology expertise.
The company will use the new funding to expand across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), strengthen its AI capabilities, and grow its team.
