German robotics company NEURA Robotics will acquire the ACTIVE Shuttle driverless transport system from Bosch Rexroth starting October 1, 2026.
The ACTIVE Shuttle is already used by many industrial companies for automated material transport. It helps move materials to assembly stations and transport small containers in factories and logistics facilities.
Through its NEURA Mobile Robots division, NEURA Robotics will take over the hardware and software of the ACTIVE Shuttle. The company will also provide services to existing customers.
NEURA plans to gradually connect the ACTIVE Shuttle with its Physical AI technology. It will add new AI features and connect the system with other technologies developed by the NEURA Group. The goal is to make the transport system smarter and better connected over time.
NEURA Robotics raised up to $1.4 billion in Series C funding in June 2026. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate the development of its Physical AI platform.
NEURA Mobile Robots focuses on autonomous transport and intralogistics within the NEURA Group. The company wants to connect different types of robots, including mobile robots, industrial robots, and humanoids, through one shared Physical AI system.
Instead of giving each robot a separate intelligence system, NEURA is building a common technology platform. This platform is designed to help robots understand their surroundings, move independently, learn new skills, and work together with other machines.
