Metaview, a London-based AI recruiting platform, has raised €53.1 million ($60 million) in Series C funding.
The company uses AI to help businesses automate different parts of the hiring process, including finding candidates, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, creating reports, and managing hiring tasks.
The funding round was led by Insight Partners. GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, and Garuda Ventures also took part in the round.
“The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next. We’re rebuilding hiring with AI at the core to make it radically more efficient and precise, while creating a better system for everyone involved,” said Siadhal Magos, CEO and co-founder of Metaview.
Metaview was founded in 2018 by Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, who previously worked in product and engineering roles at Uber and Palantir. The company started by recording and analyzing interviews where important hiring decisions are made. So far, more than 6 million interviews have been captured on the platform.
Metaview says the information collected from these interviews now helps power AI agents across different stages of the hiring process. These agents can find potential candidates before they apply, review applications based on the job requirements, and conduct structured screening conversations.
The platform is designed to support recruiters and hiring teams rather than replace them. People set the hiring criteria and make the final decisions, while Metaview’s AI helps with tasks such as sourcing candidates and turning interviews into clear, useful notes.
“The recruiting process is generating more candidate volume than most organisations know how to handle. Metaview has built a platform that brings more structure and intelligence across each stage of hiring, from sourcing and screening through to the final decision. The result is better hiring decisions at scale, without losing the judgment that good hiring requires. We are excited to partner with Siadhal, Shahriar and the team for the next phase of growth,” said Ryan Hinkle, Managing Director at Insight Partners.
The new funding will also help Metaview grow its team from 80 to 250 employees by the end of next year. The company also plans to open a new office in New York, adding to its existing offices in London and San Francisco.
