Rocker, an AI assistant designed for busy professionals at ambitious companies, has raised $12.85 million in funding led by Greycroft, with participation from Anthropic, Menlo Ventures’ Anthology Fund, Matchstick, Stripe, and several industry executives.
The investors and supporters include Jeanne DeWitt Grosser, COO of Vercel; Fran Ryan, CBO of Stripe; and David Singleton, a leader at Meta Superintelligence Labs.
Founded in 2025, Rocker is developing an AI platform that helps employees and organizations work more efficiently by connecting information about projects, people, decisions, and business priorities. Unlike AI agents focused on individual tasks, Rocker aims to coordinate work across teams and improve collaboration throughout an organization.
Connecting AI Agents Across Teams
Many AI tools help individuals complete tasks such as writing code, analyzing financial data and reviewing contracts. However, these tools often lack the broader context needed to understand company priorities, project histories and dependencies between colleagues.
Rocker aims to solve this problem by building a shared organizational context system that connects individual AI assistants across a company.
The platform maintains an evolving understanding of projects, decisions, people, and past activities rather than repeatedly rebuilding context from scratch. This helps teams identify dependencies earlier, improve handoffs, and make better-informed decisions.
Rocker can operate as a personal AI assistant or be deployed across an entire organization. In company-wide deployments, each assistant connects to a shared system designed to improve coordination and productivity while keeping private information protected.
Enterprise Security and Data Control
Rocker also tackles the issue of data privacy and security for businesses. The Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) deployment model allows businesses to use the software in their own cloud.
Rather than sending all company information to a third-party vendor, Rocker’s technology is integrated into the client’s information infrastructure. This way organizations have more control over their data while throwing the AI into the business processes.

The organization also stresses the importance of human monitoring and privacy. Personal data is not shared with others without consent, and human involvement is preserved in the decision-making and data exchange processes.
Experienced Founders and Investors
Rocker was founded by Alex Vogenthaler and Peter Terrill.
Vogenthaler spent more than two decades in product leadership at Google and Stripe, most recently overseeing Stripe’s product portfolio responsible for more than 90% of its revenue.
Terrill previously founded startups acquired by Google and Stripe and led engineering for one of Stripe’s core products.
The company is working with Lexicon and Multiadaptor, described as award-winning partners, to develop its platform.
The latest funding will enable Rocker to continue to build out its AI assistant technology and help businesses move from siloed AI tools to more integrated, context-aware systems that increase productivity across teams.
