ABM Respiratory Care, a Minnesota-based medical technology company, has secured a $20 million growth capital commitment from Trinity Capital to expand its respiratory care business.

The funding will support the company’s commercial expansion, product development, clinical research, and investment in connected respiratory care technologies. ABM Respiratory Care also plans to strengthen its presence in existing markets and expand into new ones.

Founded in 2017, ABM Respiratory Care develops medical devices for respiratory therapy in hospitals and home care settings. Its product portfolio includes the BiWaze platform, which features two FDA-cleared respiratory therapy systems.

BiWaze Clear uses oscillating lung expansion therapy to help clear mucus from the airways. BiWaze Cough provides mechanical assistance to help patients who have difficulty coughing and clearing respiratory secretions.

The company also operates Arc Connect, a digital health platform designed to help patients track their respiratory treatments and improve engagement with healthcare providers. The platform gives care teams better visibility into therapy use.

According to CEO Greg Miller, the new financing will help the company expand its commercial reach, build on the growth of its BiWaze platform, and invest in technologies that address the changing needs of patients and healthcare providers.

Trinity Capital is an alternative asset management firm that provides financing to growth-stage companies. As of June 30, 2026, it had deployed more than $6.2 billion across over 490 investments since its founding in 2008.

The latest financing is expected to help ABM Respiratory Care expand its business and continue developing respiratory care solutions for hospital and home use.
