Ultra Security, a company developing security tools for autonomous AI agents, has raised $10 million in seed funding to expand its operations and product development.
The funding round was backed by Ludlow Ventures, Hidden Capital, Entrée Capital, Detroit Venture Partners, firedrop and FDVC. Angel investors from the security and SaaS industries also participated in the round.
Founded in 2025, Ultra Security develops a platform that helps businesses monitor and control the activities of AI agents in real time. The platform tracks how AI agents interact with tools, APIs, corporate systems and sensitive data.
As businesses increasingly use AI agents to perform tasks such as accessing emails, retrieving information and working with code, security risks are also growing. Ultra Security aims to address these risks by giving companies better visibility and control over AI agent activities.
Its platform includes security guardrails, access controls, activity monitoring and alerts to detect unusual behaviour. It can also block unauthorised access to sensitive information, protect personal data and prevent data from being transferred between connected tools without permission.
The platform supports both local and remote-hosted deployments. By default, it runs locally on a user’s machine, allowing tool calls, data payloads and audit records to remain on the device.
Ultra Security was founded in 2025 by Chase Lee, who previously founded and led Trustpage before its acquisition by Vanta. The company was developed to address security gaps emerging as AI agents gain greater access to business systems.
The company holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications. It is also pursuing FedRAMP certification to support organisations with government-related security requirements.
With the fresh funding, Ultra Security plans to expand its operations and development efforts as businesses look for ways to use autonomous AI agents more securely.
