Mave Raises $34M to Expand Its AI-Powered Cybersecurity Platform

Cybersecurity startup Mave has raised $34 million in total funding. This includes a $28 million Series A round led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from Lumir Growth Partners. The company also raised $6 million in a seed round led by Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures.

Mave will use the new funding to advance its AI research, improve its products for businesses, and expand into international markets.

“The AI revolution gave us the opportunity to solve its most painful problems at their root. That’s what we built Mave to do,” says Guy Eshel, co-founder of Mave.

“Mave is built to reduce risk by giving security teams AI that can keep pace with attackers, show its work, and know when human judgment is required,” says Raziel Oren, co-founder and CEO of Mave.

Mave was founded in 2025 by CEO Raziel Oren and CTO Guy Eshel, both of whom previously served in Israel’s Unit 8200 intelligence unit. The company is building an AI-powered platform that automates security investigations by connecting information from different tools used by large businesses.

Before founding Mave, Oren led go-to-market operations at Wing Security. Eshel was the first employee at Alterya, where he later became vice president of research and development (R&D). Alterya was eventually acquired by Chainalysis.

Mave connects with the security tools a company already uses, so businesses do not need to move their security data to a new system. Its platform collects and compares information from different tools to build a clear picture of a security incident.

The platform investigates security alerts within minutes, according to the company. It helps identify false alarms, detect ongoing cyberattacks, and take approved actions to respond to threats based on rules set by the security team.

Mave uses a combination of specialised workflows and AI language models to handle simple tasks and more complex investigations. It also collects live information as an investigation progresses and keeps a record of its queries, decisions, and actions. This helps security teams track how each investigation was carried out.
