
Phigenics, a Warrenville, Illinois-based provider of technology-enabled water management solutions, has received an investment from Battery Ventures. The financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
Monroe Capital acted as the sole lead arranger and administrative agent for a senior credit facility supporting Battery Ventures’ investment in Phigenics.
Founded in 2004, Phigenics provides water management solutions that help healthcare facilities and other organizations reduce the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogen outbreaks.
The company operates accredited laboratories that collect and test water samples and offers its phiAnalytics software platform to help customers manage water safety programs, monitor results and report information to regulators.
Phigenics also provides real-time water quality sensors and other equipment for ongoing water monitoring and maintenance.
The new funding will support the company’s continued business expansion and product development efforts.
