Jenz Raises €540,000 in Pre-Seed Round from Antler and Ada Ventures

Norwegian AI startup Jenz has raised €540,000 in pre-seed funding from Antler and Ada Ventures. The company has also received a NOK 1 million (€92,000) startup grant from Innovation Norway.

Jenz is developing an AI platform to help retailers automate daily tasks and use their business data more effectively. Its platform connects information from online stores, sales systems, inventory tools, accounting software and marketing platforms in one place.

The company’s AI agent helps retailers analyse sales and inventory, forecast demand, review pricing and marketing strategies, and automate routine work. It can also monitor business operations, identify problems and alert team members when action is needed.

Jenz was founded by Remi Bjørnestad (CEO), Jo Schou Sandåker (CTO) and Natnael Belete Seifo (CCO). The founders aim to help retailers use AI without having to manage information across multiple disconnected systems.

The startup began onboarding pilot customers in late August, including online retailers and businesses operating multiple physical stores. During the pilot phase, customers assigned the platform more than 3,000 tasks across over 20 back-office systems.

According to the company, some pilot customers saved up to 100 hours of work in their first month. One retailer also reported a 31% increase in team capacity after using the platform.

Jenz emerged from the Norway AI Hackathon, organised by Ada Ventures and Startuplab in Mandal, where it won the competition in June. Ada Ventures later became its first investor. The team subsequently moved from Kristiansand to Oslo and joined Antler’s residency programme.

The company plans to expand beyond the Nordic region, with a launch in the UK expected within the next nine months.
