Delfi Secures Strategic Investment from Members 1st Federal Credit Union

Delfi, a New York City-based fintech company focused on AI-powered balance sheet intelligence has received a strategic investment from Members 1st Federal Credit Union.

The amount of the investment was not disclosed.

The investment was made through Delfi’s Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO). Members 1st, which serves more than 630,000 members and manages approximately $8 billion in assets, invests in fintech companies and CUSOs that can strengthen the credit union industry and create value for members.

Led by CEO Daniel Ahn, Delfi provides an AI-native platform that helps banks and credit unions analyze their balance sheets, test financial scenarios, and make better capital and investment decisions.

Its product suite includes Overwatch Essentials which provides balance sheet analysis, scenario testing and reporting; Overwatch Predictive, which offers probabilistic modeling and what-if analysis; and Delfi Exchange which connects balance sheet insights with capital markets opportunities and execution.

The company also offers an Agentic AI interface that allows financial teams to interact with balance sheet data using natural language.

The tool can interpret results from Delfi’s economic engine and generate recommendations to support financial decision making.

Since launching its CUSO with One Washington Financial and Maps Credit Union, Delfi has expanded across the credit union ecosystem. The company says its platform has facilitated more than $100 million in transactions.

“Members 1st is a forward-thinking credit union and an ideal strategic partner for Delfi,” said Daniel Ahn, CEO and Co-Founder of Delfi. “Better balance sheet decisions can unlock more earnings and capital, which means more money for members and more resources for the mission. We’re excited to build with Members 1st and the broader credit union community.”

Delfi has also completed its engagement with the Filene Research Institute’s FiLab program, joined the Circuit Accelerator, and integrated its technology with multiple balance sheet planning processes.

“Delfi is developing technology that empowers credit unions to strengthen balance sheet management through proactive risk identification and oversight,” said Stuart Bretz, Chief Revenue Officer at Members 1st. “By helping institutions make more informed financial decisions, Delfi supports long-term financial resilience, fosters intergenerational equity creation, and enables credit unions to better serve the evolving needs of the communities they support.”

The company plans to use the new investment to expand its operations and continue developing its platform, helping more credit unions use AI to optimize their balance sheets and direct greater value toward their members.
