Augmeta Raises $3 Million Seed Funding

Augmeta has raised $3 million in seed funding in a round led by Depth Ventures, with participation from Next Wave NYC, backed by Flybridge, and scouts from Index Ventures and Sequoia Capital.

Augmeta is building AI Operators that help companies monitor and improve business KPIs. The company says its platform is designed to help teams identify revenue leaks, improve conversion and retention, and find opportunities to increase customer value.

Many companies track hundreds of KPIs but do not have enough time or resources to act on every issue. Teams often have to collect information from different systems, investigate changes and coordinate actions across multiple people and tools.

“Every KPI has a place on a dashboard. Too few have someone working every day to improve them.” said Salman Jamali, co-founder and CEO of Augmeta. “Revenue keeps leaking, and by the time answers arrive, the moment to act has passed. The big ideas keep waiting. We’re building Operators that stay with each KPI and keep the work moving, while teams set the goals and guardrails.”

Augmeta’s AI Operators are designed to handle this work continuously. They can validate data, investigate changes, identify opportunities and build an evidence-based case for what a company should do next. The Operators also keep the context from the initial investigation through the action and its results.

The company calls its approach Agentic KPI Ops. Teams can work directly with the AI Operators, while businesses can set rules that determine when an Operator can act independently, request approval or escalate a decision that requires human judgment.

Augmeta said its technology is already being used by a Fortune 500 retailer across more than 100 KPIs. The Operators investigate unusual results, identify opportunities and provide information for business reviews. They can also continue working on follow-up actions after meetings.

The new funding will be used to make Augmeta easier to deploy, expand the number of KPIs it can support and increase the range of actions its AI Operators can take and verify.

Augmeta was founded by Salman Jamali, Arslan Jamali and Nitin Bhaskaran. The founders have backgrounds in product and engineering leadership at companies including Amazon, Opendoor and Home Depot.
