Adaptive Raises $30M Series B to Expand AI Accounting Platform for Construction

Adaptive, an agentic accounting platform built for the construction industry, has raised $30 million in Series B funding.

The round was led by Tidemark, with participation from existing investors including Emergence Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Pathlight, Definition, and 3KVC. The latest investment brings Adaptive’s total funding to $57 million.

Adaptive plans to use the new funding to expand its Project Accounting Agents and deploy them across key construction finance operations, including accounts payable, billing, compliance, job costing, payments, and work-in-progress reporting.

The company will also use the funding to grow its teams in Boston and New York.

According to Adaptive, more than 750 construction companies and operators use its platform, including general contractors, specialty contractors, and real estate developers.

The company is focused on using AI agents to automate accounting tasks and help construction finance teams manage financial operations more efficiently.
