Jetstream Venture Fund has made a strategic investment in Rejuvenation Technologies, a biotechnology company developing targeted mRNA therapies designed to extend telomeres and restore cellular regenerative capacity.
The investment gives Jetstream exposure to Rejuvenation Technologies’ work in longevity science, gene therapy and regenerative medicine. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
Rejuvenation Technologies was founded from research at Stanford University by CEO and co-inventor Dr. John Ramunas. The company is developing modified mRNA therapies delivered through proprietary lipid nanoparticles to target specific organs.

Its approach is designed to temporarily extend telomeres rather than permanently activate telomerase. The company is advancing preclinical programs targeting idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and severe chronic liver disease.
Rejuvenation Technologies is backed by investors including Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator and has received more than $8 million in non-dilutive funding from the NIH and CIRM, according to the company.
The investment adds Rejuvenation Technologies to Jetstream’s recent biotechnology investments, including Rejuvenate Bio and Wonderlab Bio.
Jetstream Venture Fund is an interval fund managed by Xcellerant Ventures and Sweater Industries that aims to provide investors with access to private growth companies through a structure with lower investment minimums.
