Clastix has raised €2.9 million in a seed funding round, led by CDP Venture Capital Sgr, with participation from Mistral and VERTIS SGR. This is the company’s first external funding since it was founded. Clastix will use the money to grow its team and expand its Kubernetes infrastructure platform.
The funding will support product development, customer success, engineering and sales activities. Clastix plans to further develop kMetal, its commercial platform that helps companies manage large Kubernetes environments.
Over the next three years, Clastix expects to increase its team as demand from customers grows. The company also plans to continue investing in Kamaji, its open-source Hosted Control Plane engine, while building the capabilities needed to support larger enterprise customers.
