Voxela, Inc., a senior care technology company, has closed a Series A funding round led by Delight Ventures. The company said its total funding since its founding has reached approximately $13.2 million.

The size of the Series A round and Voxela’s valuation were not disclosed.

New investors include Sompo Growth Partners, the venture arm of Japan’s Sompo Group, along with Happiness Capital and Blue Heron Ventures. Existing investors Archetype Ventures and ALL STAR SAAS FUND also participated in the round.

Voxela has developed VCare, an AI-powered platform designed to automate incident documentation and reporting in long-term care facilities.

The platform analyzes video footage from standard network cameras and creates draft incident reports to help caregivers reduce the time spent on administrative work.

According to Voxela, VCare can analyze video footage within about 30 seconds, with a draft report available minutes later. Staff can review the report, add missing information and complete the documentation.

The platform also organizes incident records to help care facilities identify where and when incidents occur. Voxela says this can provide facilities with a clearer view of recurring incidents and support improvements in care operations.

The company is targeting the senior care market in Japan and the United States. VCare is currently being used at a residential care home in Folsom, California, while most of Voxela’s deployments are currently in Japan.

Voxela completed a HIPAA compliance assessment in March 2026 as it prepares to expand its presence in the U.S. market.

The company plans to use the new funding to hire AI and product engineers, improve its documentation and reporting technology, expand deployments in Japan and build its U.S. commercial operations.

Founded in 2022, Voxela is headquartered in Fremont, California with a Japanese subsidiary in Tokyo. The company aims to use AI and computer vision to reduce administrative workloads and give caregivers more time to focus on residents.
