Billd Secures $100 Million Credit Facility from Victory Park Capital

Billd, a financial services provider for commercial construction subcontractors, has secured a $100 million credit facility from Victory Park Capital (VPC), a global alternative investment firm specializing in private credit and asset-backed finance.

The facility will support Billd’s continued growth and expand its ability to provide flexible financing solutions to commercial construction subcontractors across the United States.

Billd Addresses Construction Industry Cash Flow Challenges

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Billd helps commercial construction subcontractors manage a longstanding working-capital gap.

Subcontractors often need to pay for materials and labor before receiving payments from general contractors. This can create cash flow challenges and limit their ability to take on new projects.

Billd provides working capital solutions designed to align with construction payment cycles. Its financing products help subcontractors cover key expenses, manage cash flow and grow their businesses.

“Billd has built a differentiated financing platform that addresses a significant and persistent working capital challenge in the commercial construction industry,” said Gordon Watson, Partner at Victory Park Capital. “The company’s specialized underwriting capabilities, deep understanding of construction payment cycles, and established track record position it well to serve an underserved segment of the market. We are excited to partner with Billd and help support its next phase of growth.”

Victory Park Capital Supports Billd’s Growth

The new credit facility reflects Victory Park Capital’s focus on asset-backed financing solutions for financial services platforms addressing gaps in traditional lending markets.

The partnership combines Billd’s construction-specific underwriting technology and servicing capabilities with VPC’s expertise in asset-backed finance.

The companies aim to expand access to capital for subcontractors and support the development of financing solutions across the commercial construction industry.
