Journify, an advertising signal infrastructure company, has raised $12 million in Series A funding at four times its previous valuation. The round was led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning investor Silicon Badia.
Existing investors Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors. The funding will support Journify’s expansion into the United States and Europe and further development of its AI technology.
Journify helps businesses improve the data shared with advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads. Its platform connects online and offline customer activity, including purchases, sign-ups and in-store sales, to help advertising algorithms make better decisions.
The company’s technology brings together data from websites, mobile apps, CRM systems, ecommerce platforms, offline sales and other business systems. It validates and enriches conversion events before securely sharing consented signals with advertising platforms.
Journify Reports Customer Performance Gains
More than 100 businesses use Journify, including ecommerce brands and major retailers that collectively represent hundreds of millions of dollars in annual advertising spend.
The company said Saudi retailer Jarir Bookstore increased its return on ad spend on Meta by 182% using Journify. Saudi ecommerce brand Baytonia increased its return on ad spend on TikTok by 80% while reducing its cost per purchase by 44%.
Journify also uses AI to monitor data connections, identify signal-quality issues and help resolve them. The new funding will expand these capabilities as the company grows beyond the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
Founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Dubai and Riyadh. The company has obtained a SOC 2 Type II report and says it is committed to GDPR compliance.
