Italian cybersecurity startup CyberKord has raised €2.7 million in a pre-Seed funding round to develop its AI-powered platform for managing IT and cybersecurity operations. The round was led by 360 Capital, with participation from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.
Founded in Milan in 2026 by Alessandro Maggio, Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli, CyberKord is building a platform that helps companies find, investigate and fix IT and cybersecurity problems with less manual work.
As businesses use more software, expand their IT systems and adopt AI agents, managing security and technical issues is becoming more difficult. Companies need to monitor more systems and respond to a growing number of potential problems.
Although many security tools can detect threats within minutes, fixing them often takes much longer. This is because IT and security teams still need to investigate problems and take action manually. The growing number of cyberattacks also makes it important for companies to respond faster.
CyberKord aims to make this process easier by using AI to automate tasks that usually require human involvement. Its platform creates a Digital Twin, or virtual copy, of a company’s IT infrastructure. This allows the system to analyse problems, test possible solutions and take corrective action automatically.
“Companies add infrastructure, software and AI agents every week, and operational work grows faster than any team. As a result, the time of expert professionals ends up in patches, access requests and incidents, one ticket at a time. We built an artificial intelligence that does that work on its own, from start to finish, and shows every step. The team chooses how far to let it act and takes back time for architecture, projects and the decisions it was hired for, “says Alessandro Maggio, co-founder and CEO of CyberKord.
CyberKord’s platform can start working when it receives security alerts, support tickets or messages through tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack. It investigates the cause of the problem, tests a possible solution and then fixes the issue using the company’s existing software and systems.
The platform works with both cloud-based and on-premise systems, so businesses do not need to replace their existing IT infrastructure. Companies can also decide how much control the AI has over different tasks. All actions taken by the system are recorded and can be reviewed by the team.
By automating regular IT and security tasks, CyberKord aims to reduce the workload of technical teams. This will allow IT and cybersecurity professionals to spend more time improving infrastructure, working on important projects and handling tasks that need human decisions.
With the new funding, CyberKord plans to improve its platform and start its first pilot projects with large European companies. These projects will target industries such as manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications. The company also plans to hire more people, particularly for technical and business development roles.
