Prevalent AI Raises $22 Million to Expand Enterprise AI and Data Platform

Enterprise AI company Prevalent AI has raised $22 million in growth funding from Los Angeles-based Integrity Growth Partners (IGP). This is the first major primary investment the company has raised since it was founded nine years ago.

Prevalent AI was founded in 2017 by Paul Stokes and Arun Raj. The company develops an AI-powered data platform that helps large businesses connect, organise and understand data from different enterprise systems.

The platform brings together information from hundreds of business systems and creates a continuously updated knowledge graph. In simple terms, it gives companies a single view of their data, showing how different systems and information are connected and where important gaps may exist.

Prevalent AI initially focused on cybersecurity. In this area, businesses often need to make decisions using information spread across many different systems, security controls and data sources. The company is now expanding its technology into other business areas as more companies start using AI tools and agents.

Co-founder and CEO Paul Stokes said the main problem for large companies is not a lack of data or software, but the difficulty of connecting information and giving it the right context. Prevalent AI first tackled this issue in cybersecurity, where disconnected data can create business and security risks.

As businesses increasingly use AI agents and automated systems, Prevalent AI wants its knowledge graph to provide the context these systems need. This can help AI understand how different pieces of information are related and support better decision-making across different parts of a business.

The new funding will be used to strengthen the company’s sales, marketing, customer success and partnerships. Prevalent AI will also use the investment to expand further in the US, develop its technology for wider risk and enterprise applications, and grow its leadership team.
