Higgsfield AI Valuation Hits $5.4B After $400M Funding Round

AI video startup Higgsfield AI has raised $400 million in new funding, valuing the company at $5.4 billion.

The round was backed by major investors including Goldman Sachs, Intel, DST Global, and Liberty Global. Tribe Capital, Smash Capital, Fifth Wall, Valor Capital, Mirae Asset Capital, and NTT DOCOMO Ventures also participated.

The new valuation is more than four times higher than Higgsfield’s valuation eight months ago. Earlier this year, the company raised $80 million, bringing its Series A funding to $130 million, at a valuation of about $1.3 billion.

Founded by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield launched its AI video platform in 2025. The company provides generative video tools for creative professionals, marketers, businesses and social media creators.

Its platform supports applications such as advertising, social media content, music videos and commercial filmmaking. Instead of relying on a single AI video model, the company combines multiple models with its own creative tools and workflows.

The startup has grown rapidly alongside demand for AI-generated video. It now has more than 15 million users across 240 countries while its annualized revenue has reached hundreds of millions of dollars.

The company says businesses now generate the majority of its revenue, as brands increasingly use AI to create videos for advertising and social media.

Higgsfield plans to use the new funding to expand its enterprise products, security, and computing infrastructure. The company faces growing competition from AI video companies such as Runway and Synthesia as demand for generative video continues to increase.

“Every business needs visual content, but creating it at the quality, speed and scale companies demand remains complex and expensive,” said Alex Mashrabov, Co-Founder & CEO of Higgsfield. “AI is fundamentally changing that. The next wave of value will be created by the applications that put this technology to work, and Higgsfield is leading that shift in visual media. We’re building the platform businesses use to create high-quality content faster and more efficiently, positioning Higgsfield at the center of a multi-trillion-dollar global market.”

“We are looking forward to supporting Alex, Yerzat, and the team as they build the next generation of AI tools for visual creation,” said Yuri Milner founder of DST Global.

“Every major technology revolution in media gives birth to a new creative medium and spurs growth,” said Kevin Mayer, former Walt Disney executive, Co-Founder & Executive Chairman at Smash Capital and Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Candle Media. “Higgsfield is empowering storytellers to push past the limits of traditional production, laying the groundwork for a new era of human creativity.”

“At Tribe, we look for true outlier metrics, and Higgsfield’s revenue velocity and customer retention speak for themselves,” said Boris Revsin, Managing Partner at Tribe Capital. “By solving critical workflow bottlenecks for both global brands and Hollywood storytellers, Higgsfield is establishing the financial benchmark for creative software.”
