Primo, a Paris-based AI platform, has raised €6.9 million (around $8 million) in new funding. The company helps businesses manage devices, software, employee identities, and IT support from one platform.
The funding round was led by California-based Headline and Global Founders Capital, the venture capital arm of Rocket Internet.
The round also received investment from Arthur Waller and Romain Niccoli. Waller is the co-founder and CEO of Pennylane, while Niccoli is the co-founder and CEO of Pigment, two French software companies.
“Many AI tools can answer a question; very few can act reliably at the core of a company’s information systems. Primo has a structural advantage: the platform already brings together the context, the integrations, and the rules needed to execute IT operations end to end with truly autonomous, operational, and secure agents,” said Jonathan Userovici, Partner at Headline.
Founded in 2022 by Martin Pannier, Primo has created a single platform that helps companies manage their devices, software access, employees, and IT support in one place.
The company also uses AI agents to handle repetitive IT tasks from start to finish. These tasks include setting up accounts and access for new employees, as well as removing access when employees leave the company.
Primo now has more than 400 customers across 10 countries. Its customers include startups, growing companies, and small and medium-sized businesses with 50 to 2,000 employees. Some of its customers are ASL Airlines and Attio. The company said its revenue has grown four times year over year and its annual recurring revenue has crossed €3.4 million (around $4 million).
“IT has always been seen as a cost centre that companies simply endure. We are building the opposite: a platform where IT becomes a lever, and where AI agents handle the repetitive work while teams focus on what matters. This funding round allows us to take the next step: enabling our customers to deploy AI agents that execute these processes end to end, with all the traceability and control they require,” said Pannier, co-founder and CEO of Primo.
Primo plans to use the new funding to hire more employees and expand into international markets. The company wants to make autonomous AI agents a key part of how businesses manage their IT operations.
More than half of Primo’s users are already based outside France. The company plans to strengthen its presence in markets where it already operates, including the UK, Germany, the Benelux region, and the Nordic countries.
