SciFin Raises $44M in Seed Round

SciFin, a San Jose, California-based AI company helping enterprise revenue teams manage business data, has raised $44 million in seed funding.

The funding round was co-led by Altimeter and Madrona, with participation from Foundation Capital, S32, Zetta Ventures, and other investors.

Founded and led by CEO Mohit Aron, who previously co-founded Nutanix and founded Cohesity, SciFin aims to solve what it calls the “context gap” between what is happening in a business and what its systems show.

Its platform brings together data from accounts, deals, forecasts, sales representatives, territories, customer conversations, finance, and operations into one continuously updated view.

SciFin also offers Pixie, an AI companion that turns this business context into answers, reports, and recommended actions. The company says this can reduce administrative work and help revenue teams make faster, better decisions.

“Advisors have access to a lot of information, but it isn’t always connected or available when they need it,” said Morgan Stanley Managing Director Emmanuel Dounias. “SciFin’s aim to bring that context together would reduce manual work, help advisors spend more time with clients on more relevant conversations, and better provide the services their clients need.”

SciFin will use the new funding to develop its product, expand its go-to-market operations, grow its teams, and acquire more customers. The company initially focuses on revenue and go-to-market teams, with plans to expand into areas such as finance and quarterly planning.
